ON AUTOBIOGRAPHY
There's an interesting autobiography by the novelist Jeanette Winterson on BBC 4 Book of the Week, this week. By chance it fits in with the very interesting discussion with had in the Chichester group last week, about the experience of being adopted.
I've been listening to it - makes me thankful I wasn't adopted, but makes me wonder whether a book would have been written if her childhood had been 'normal'...
